Permanent exhibition

Explore the history of aerial warfare at an authentic site

As a branch of the Military History Museum of the Bundeswehr in Dresden, the permanent exhibition at Berlin-Gatow Airfield focuses on aerial warfare as one of the most recent forms of military violence. It views the history of technology as part of cultural history, puts people and their various roles at the centre, and examines the interplay between politics, the military and society.
